Over 45 years of demonstrated success in research, teaching, institutional development, administration and leadership of students, staff, and staff support services in the U.S.A, U.K, and Nigeria culminating in leading a University.
Professor Olagbemiro has over 45 years of work experience spread across industry, university teaching and administration, as well as research both in Nigeria, the U.S., and the U.K. He has served in various capacities as Research Consultant, Research Scientist, Head of Department, Dean of Faculty, Dean of Students Affairs, Director of Academic Planning, and Member of Senate and Council in three universities where he had served. He was Vice-Chancellor of Bowen University of the Nigerian Baptist Convention for a period of 10-years (2003-2013) and the immediate past Chairman (2007 to 2013), Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Registrars of Private Universities in Nigeria.
Professor Olagbemiro in the course of his career, was a recipient of notable international research grants and awards, such as The US National Foundation Science (US NSF) research grant, US Carnegie Research award, British Council Research award, Rothamsted International (RI) Research Fellowship, Third World Academy Science (TWAS) Research Award, and the international Foundation for Science (IFS) Research Award, and The Welcome Trust Research grant, among others. His research work on insect pests (particularly on mosquitoes) was worthy of note in the International arena, and received recognition in the “New Scientist”, “British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) London”, the World “Who is who” in Science, as well as “Who is who” in Science in Africa. Distinguished researcher with over 68 publications in peer reviewed journals.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria, and Fellow, Chemical Society of Nigeria. Professor Olagbemiro is a recipient of the Stetson University, Deland, Florida, USA, Distinguished Alumni Award, a devoted Christian, and a Fellow of the Christian Athlete of America. In depth expertise in Staff Leadership and Team Building, Program/Project Management, Technology Acquisition & Road-mapping and Organization /Staff Development/Administration.

Mrs. Elizabeth I. Opara is a seasoned, reputable Chartered Accountant and the pioneer Bursar (Chief Finance Officer) of Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo, Delta State.
She was pioneer Bursar of Veritas University (The Catholic University of Nigeria), Abuja, and served for full term up to January, 2013. She continued her career at Veritas University from the University of Jos in Plateau State, where she left as Deputy Bursar after serving in that capacity for nine years out of the twenty six years she worked meritoriously as Accountant at the University. She was also Finance Officer/Project Director of the University of Jos/Carnegie Corporation of New York Partnership donor funds/interventions project for four years.
She was the first female in West Africa to win a one year fellowship award and participated in the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Leadership Foundation, USA, leadership training program in 2004/2005; where she represented the region.
